Analytics and marketing cookies (on by default — you can opt out)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. It loads by default on your first visit, before you interact with the cookie banner — choosing "Reject non-essential" stops any further events from being sent to Google for the rest of your visit, though it cannot recall anything already sent before you chose. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives your IP address and the pages you view; see Google's privacy policy. We also use the Meta pixel to measure our advertising and reach people who have visited the site. It loads the same way, by default, and is stopped the same way, by clicking "Reject non-essential". It receives your IP address, the pages you view, and a browser identifier; see Meta's privacy policy. You can opt out of ads personalisation in your Meta account settings.
