Frequently asked questions
What is a blind (sealed-bid) auction?
In a blind auction, every bid is confidential. You can't see other buyers' offers and they can't see yours. You submit the amount the machine is worth to you before the deadline, and after the auction closes our team selects the winning bid — normally the highest qualified offer. No bidding wars, no last-second sniping.
Is registration free?
Yes. Creating an account is free and takes about two minutes. You confirm your email, our team approves your account (usually within one business day), and you can bid on any open auction.
Why does my account need approval before I can bid?
Because every bid is a binding offer, we approve each bidder to keep the pool serious and protect sellers from fake bids. It's quick and free — you'll get an email the second you're cleared to bid.
Can I see the current highest bid?
No — that's the point of a blind auction. Nobody can see any bids. Some listings show an opening bid, which is the minimum amount for your first offer. Your own bids are always visible to you under My Bids.
Can I bid more than once?
Yes. You can submit additional sealed bids at any time before the auction closes, for example to raise your offer. Each bid is recorded and timestamped; bids cannot be lowered or withdrawn after submission.
Can I buy a machine instantly without bidding?
No — every machine here is sold through the sealed-bid auction, so there is no instant-purchase option. Place your confidential bid before the auction closes, and if it is selected as the winning offer we email you the invoice and next steps. Payment is due by bank wire within 48 hours of that notification, and nationwide delivery is arranged as usual.
How do I know what condition the machine is in?
Every listing includes a large photo set (often 40–60 photos), walk-around videos where available, full specifications, hour readings, and honest condition notes that include known problems. If you have a question a listing does not answer, contact support — an agent replies within one business day and can get answers from the field rep before you bid.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is not free, but we subsidize part of it. Freight is priced by distance from our yard to your address, and our contribution is deducted automatically — so you pay a distance-based rate, less our subsidy. Tell us your location and we quote the freight before you bid. Most road deliveries arrive within 3–7 business days of cleared payment; routes that cross water, including between the Hawaiian islands, are quoted by hand.
How and when do I pay if I win?
Winners are notified by email with an invoice. Payment is by bank wire transfer within 48 hours of the notification. Once your payment clears, we schedule transport to your site and the title documents are released.
What happens if I win but don't pay?
Bids are binding offers. If payment is not received within the stated window, the sale may be cancelled, the machine offered to another bidder or relisted, and your account suspended. If something unexpected comes up, get in touch with our support team right away — we're people first, and we'd rather work it out.
Are the machines under warranty?
No. All equipment is used and sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty of any kind. That's standard for equipment auctions, and it's baked into the price. We make up for it with honest listings: real photos, verified hours where we can, and condition notes that call out the known issues. Separately from warranty, there are two windows after delivery: 48 hours for transport damage, and 7 days to raise a machine that is materially different from the lot as listed. See Delivery Inspection & Condition Review.
Do you charge a buyer's premium?
No buyer's premium and no hidden platform fees. You pay the amount you bid plus applicable sales tax. Delivery is billed separately at a distance-based rate that we help subsidize — we quote it to your location before you commit. If you have a valid resale or agricultural exemption certificate, upload it to your account and the tax is removed where applicable.
Can I talk to someone before bidding?
Yes — a support agent is available during working hours through the contact page and replies within one business day. Ask about a specific machine, delivery to your location, payment, taxes — whatever you need to bid with confidence.
