This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Bob Worner LLC collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and our auction services.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, company, mailing address, and buyer type, provided when you register.
- Bidding data: the bids you place — amount, time, the IP address and browser (user agent) used — kept as a fraud-protection and audit record.
- Documents you upload (optional), such as tax exemption or resale certificates, stored privately and used only to process your transactions.
- Messages you send through the contact form or support channels.
- Technical data: essential cookies needed for login sessions and security. Analytics and marketing cookies load by default; you can opt out at any time — see our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- To operate auctions: registering you, verifying your account, recording bids, selecting winners, invoicing, and arranging delivery.
- To send transactional emails (verification, bid confirmations, winner notifications, delivery updates).
- To protect the platform against fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations, including tax records.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, email delivery, transport carriers — who receive your delivery address and phone number), and where required by law.
Analytics and advertising providers. Google Analytics and the Meta pixel receive your IP address, the pages you view, and a browser identifier by default — never your identity documents, your bids, or your account details. If you reject non-essential cookies, we stop sending further events to them for the rest of your visit; data already sent before you chose cannot be recalled. Blind auction confidentiality
Your bids are never shown to other bidders. Bid data is visible only to you and to authorized Bob Worner LLC staff.
Retention
Account and transaction records are kept for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for legal, tax, and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time; we will delete data we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights (including CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; request a copy of your data; request deletion; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, so no opt-out of sale is needed. Residents of other states with similar laws have the equivalent rights.

Security
Passwords are stored hashed, uploaded documents are kept in private storage, admin access is role-restricted and logged, and all traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Children
Our services are for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
